June 10, 2019

Hello, again!

I say this just about every week, but we have had a crazy busy week! We had a bunch of appointments that fell through but in place of those appointments we were able to find some new people to teach! We also found out that Sister Blaser and another sister will be tripled into a new sister's area that is right next to our current area of Xenia/Beavercreek. Sister Blaser and I had to laugh when we found out about that because we both feel like we were just getting familiar with members of the ward and building our teaching pool up and now we have to start all over again. But it will be great! We've committed to work as hard as we can again to find people to teach. The elders in the area we will be serving in said they have found hardly anyone to teach because there aren't many people just out walking around and this area was hit hardest by the tornado, so a lot of people have been preoccupied by that. We're also going to be doing a lot more walking than we are used to because we will only have a car for half of the time. The sisters in an area next to us got their car totaled when the tornado came through, so we will be sharing with them. It'll be crazy but nothing we can't do with the help of the Lord.

The rest of this week we have spent trying to get ready for the elders to come into this area. The zone leaders will be doubled in taking our current area so we are trying to make sure all the people we are teaching know about the changes. We've also been trying to get a bunch of appointments set up for them so they can meet everyone within the first week and nobody gets lost in the transition. I'm pretty sad to be leaving this ward because the members are so awesome and we had such a short time with them, but I'm also excited to see what this next area holds. We also get to stay in the apartment we are currently in because it is in the area we are being moved to, so that's super nice.

Okay one more thing and then I have to go. I was able to Skype in to talk to a boy we taught in Wilmington who got baptized this last Saturday. Even though I wasn't able to teach him for a long time, when Sister Hulse and I started teaching him we could tell he was prepared by the Lord and was ready to accept this message. It was just so cool to talk to him for a little bit and see how his testimony has grown since I left.

Anywho, I'll let you guys know next week how being in a trio and a new area is! We are pumped! Love you all!

Last day in Xenia

A mural in Xenia

This is the best picture we could get it front of it.
If you can't tell the sun was very bright.

We went on a last minute exchange on Thursday because
some sisters in the surrounding areas needed to go to
mission leader training. Sister Romrell came to
Xenia/Beavercreen with me and Sister Blaser
got to go to Wilmington with Sister Fox! So jealous!

Last day in this part of Beavercreek
