June 17, 2019

Hello, everyone! Okay another short email for this week be time is running out again, so sorry!

This week I got tripled in to the Beavercreek 1 area with Sister Blaser and Sister Archibald. Let me tell you it has been a party so far. Trio life is the best! We're basically starting with zero information about the members here or any of the people who have been taught. We haven't found anyone to teach here yet, but we've been working so hard this week to try and get the area figured out. We are also car sharing so every other week we switch with the other sisters here between driving the car and riding bikes. Somehow I ended up being the tallest person in our trio so I got the biggest bike, and holy cow I can barely get on and off that thing because it's so tall, so be prepared for bike crash stories that are sure to come.

Besides being doubled in and trying to find people to teach all day we have still been doing tornado clean up. Saturday we worked the longest in Dayton in a neighborhood that got hit really hard, so it still looks pretty bad. It's been raining a bunch this week as well, so some of our service got cut short because of flash flood warnings. Apparently more storms are headed our way so we're prepared to be wet all this week on our bikes! I'm actually super pumped because biking is going to be good exercise.

One funny story: So we were introducing ourselves to a bunch if families in the ward this week, and when we went over to one of the houses one of the family's little boys mooned us and shot Sister Blaser in the face with a battery-powered Nerf gun. We all laughed so hard we almost peed.

Anyways so sorry for such a lame email, but we're so pumped to figure this area out more and find people to teach!

Oh, one more thing, I found out 4 of the people I taught while I was in Wilmington are getting baptized, woo hoo!!
