Well, not going to lie this was a tough week. Fun, but not the easiest. We found out this week that the person we had on date to be baptized no longer wants us to come back. He's going through some hard things right now and really needs an understanding of the Atonement in his life. We feel that he's ready to receive the gospel right now, but that he doesn't have confidence that he can change. He's amazing, but he needs to feel the Savior's love and guidance to be able to move forward. If y'all could pray for him that would be amazing! (I can't give specific names of the people we're teaching, but Heavenly Father will know who you're talking about!)
Besides that we've been working our butts off to find people to teach. We have had some really good conversations with people who are super nice, they just don't want us to come back.
We've also done a lot of service for people in the area this week. We helped a lady in our ward demo her house again and got suuuper sweaty because it's been very hot and humid here. It's honestly so therapeutic to be able to do service for people, Sister Archibald and I are so grateful when people allow and ask us to help. On Saturday we also got to help out at a members home doing a bunch of yardwork because they will be moving to Paris in two weeks! It's actually really kinda sad because they are an awesome family, but they told is if we ever visit France we will have a place to stay! They'll be living 10 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower (isn't that crazy?!). They also had us over for dinner on Sunday when they found out it was Sister Archibald's birthday. They're awesome!
Oh, and Sister Archibald and I will be staying in Beavercreek for another transfer, woo hoo! I am so pumped because she is the first companion I will have for more than one transfer...FINALLY!
Anyways, sorry for the lame updates, but we're doing great here in good old Beavercreek. Love you all and take care!
